Dear Parents/Carers,
We recognise that many of you need affordable childcare to allow you to work. We have been looking at our charges and have introduced some new rates to help to keep costs down for you. If your children already attend wraparound care, the new charges will be introduced from April 1st. If you are interested in using this service, please book your child on using the online form. Charges
After School Club 3.15-4.30pm £6.00 per session, including drink and a biscuit.
After School Club 3.15-5.30pm £10.00 per session, including a light tea.
Places can be booked via the Google form and payment will be invoiced via Pupil Asset. All fees should be paid in advance including voucher and government payments. We ask that debt is not allowed to accrue as this is often difficult to pay off and may result in your child's place being withdrawn.
From September 2023 the cost for a second sibling will be half the standard fee.
Your child can attend any of the internal after school clubs free of charge if there is a space and the club is age appropriate. We will book them for you, if they would like to go.
We do not provide wraparound care for children that attend nursery.
Late Collections: A charge of £1 per minute will be incurred to cover the staff's overtime costs.
Cancellation fees
More than 4 weeks’ notice: No charge
Less than 4 weeks’ notice: Full fees will be charged
Sessions missed due to illness, sport club attendance, or other reasons will not be refunded.
If the school is forced to close e.g. due to snow or a power cut, the fee will be credited to you.
Food and Drink: A healthy finger food tea will be served at 4.30pm. This will be sufficient to keep the children going but we do not recommend that it replaces an evening meal. Please see attached letter for examples of food and activities:
Please note that all our staff are suitably trained and DBS checked.
At our After School Club, we want the children to have the chance to play, relax, socialise and possibly spend some time reading and using the learning software available in school. Your child's enjoyment, care and safety are our main concerns. The After School Club is based in the main KS2 building in Cherry Classroom. It is central to the school and has easy access to the toilets, hall and outside areas. Parents should collect their children from the external door near the outside classroom.
We will ensure there are a range of activities on different days based on the interests and ages of the different children.
